The D while in the engine code means twin overhead camshaft (DOHC). That is completed by fitting an RB25DE or RB26DETT cylinder head and or turbo to an ordinary RB30E/T block. The RB25DET isn't ordinarily used.However it’s not as talked about as many of its cousins, Nissan’s RB25DET was however the most effective tuner engines of the nineties.
